Performance Costume ECA 2012

Always exciting and inspiring to visit Degree Shows. First up this year Edinburgh College of Art and some amazing costume design. Kirsty Quinn’s work was astonishing, the piece above is constructed using seed pods.

I also liked Clementine Robertson’s costumes (above), she “became enthused at the notion of early Scottish plant hunters…” and uses as many natural materials as possible, from fish skin to hand died linen & silk.
