Baker’s Dozen

002

I like the idea behind Baker’s Dozen an online store based in Melbourne, Australia. Thirteen artists were asked to create an object in a limited edition of thirteen. The results are lovely. I particularly like the Collect and Carry Pouches from Forest Bound (they have an Etsy shop too), I would squirrel away nuts and berries, twigs and pebbles. Give Baker’s Dozen a peek.

I adore the work of Caroline Gaedechens and have just realized that she is the artist behind Nuit Blanche over at Etsy. I think I may have to try and snag a copy of 13 Dreams, these illustrations take me to an icy cavern inside myself, I can feel my wings, powerful work indeed!
