They make me grin from ear to ear, sigh, swoon and then I get a little bit teary eyed. Aren’t these touchingly beautiful little Merfish fellows amongst the most amazing handcrafted things that you have ever seen? They are lovingly created by the titanically talented Margie Oomen, aka Knitalatte. Margie also keeps a marvelous blog called Resurrection Fern, a place of serenity, natural beauty and really magnificent cats!
I couldn’t let the morning pass without sharing these joyful creatures with you. Margie’s Merfish are little talismans to carry in our imagination, today will be a very smiley day indeed!

Granola today! I just had to put these guys up, they have stolen my heart. Hasn’t it been the best week? If only they were all as fun, I suppose that we do need the shades of grey too though, happy to see the inspiration week continuing a little longer, as my friend’s Father would say “we have had a proper spoiling!”.
