If you have visited my Flickr page recently you may have noticed that I have gone a little embroidery hoop mad. I am hoping to get some pretty pictures of them this weekend and have a little Etsy shop update sometime next week, it really has been too long since the last one. I love making these, especially the tiny 4″ hoops, I raided my local yarn shop yesterday and cleared them out of the 5 they had left in stock. I made La Forêt while watching Grey Gardens, it made me dreamy and a little sad.

You know, I hope you keep making your beautiful “hoops”, I love them hun!

I just love your hoop words and pictures lisa. I love their simplicity but I know just how tough it can be to make those cursive letters turn out as beautifully as your do.

These are so lovely! Your embroidered words are really wonderful. I have tried doing words and it is not easy. The trees are enchanting and the linen and texture very nice.
I forgot about this film. I had it on my list of things to see a long time ago. Now I want to rent it immediately. Glad you mentioned it.
