Good morning my kitty cats. A tiny little post to announce the permanent move of my Friday interviews to Monday. No longer a moveable feast. The first glimmers of spring have brought a quickening to the Lou Lou & Oscar shop and I find myself with actual sewing to do! In order not to rush the treasured interview feature I need the weekend to work on it. I have the most incredible artist coming up on Monday, I am so in love with her work, a major passion has developed, make sure you pop back for madeleines and tea with us then.
I also wanted to make a small addendum to my super plush feature (below). Look above to those fabulous dolls, created by Little Red Fox for the incredibly lucky and supremely talented Jessica of Miniature Rhino. These dolls are based upon the main characters, Oskar & Eli, from the Swedish film Let The Right One In. If you haven’t seen this beautiful, poetic and shattering film yet you should. I also recommend the book of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Many thanks to Nicole for tipping me off about this film originally.
Hi Lisa, Edgar is sitting with me and thanks you very much for posting especially for him, byron and arwen, although they really don’t read much and are not too keen on foreign films. They do however love plush, and I mean love it .
Just got home from a day in the silk screening studio. So much to learn for a person like me with absolutely no art training.
It is always good to learn new things and I hear it might prevent dementia.
Look forward to your Monday interview, any hints as to who it might be .
love to see these little ones here!
